SYDNEY, Feb 26 AAP - Shell has become the second major oil company to reject the purchaseof shale oil from Queensland's controversial Stuart Project.
The move has prompted renewed calls from Greenpeace to Caltex - the only company tohave bought shale oil - to also ban the use of the product.
Shell today issued a statement saying it had "no interest" in shale oil and would notpurchase it.
It joins BP in rejecting the oil product.
