NSW: More arrests on second day of police drink drive blitz

Nineteen people were arrested on the second night of a police blitz on drink-driving
in central Sydney last night.

The blitz began on Friday night with the arrest of five people for drink driving.

Last night's five-and-a-half-hour operation saw seven people charged with drink driving
and 12 arrested for traffic offences.

Police also issued 126 traffic infringement notices and handed out defect notices for
76 vehicles.

The blitz was one of several operations to be conducted ahead of the Easter long weekend.
